The Research in Education and Learning (REAL) Lab at the University of Virginia will be posting recaps of each session of Curiosity Club, a research-practice partnership with the Virginia Discovery Museum.

Curiosity Club is a drop-in program designed to spark your child’s natural sense of wonder! Specially designed for children ages 4–8 but open to all, each session features a new theme with engaging activities that encourage children to explore, ask questions, and make discoveries at their own pace. Grown-ups and younger kids are welcome to join the fun! Whether your child stops by for a few minutes or stays the full hour, Curiosity Club will offer an opportunity for them to be creative, practice problem-solving, and can support development of a lifelong love of learning through open-ended exploration.

Even if you can't make it to the Discovery Museum in person, we hope you'll be able to cultivate curiosity at home using some of our fun activities. Enjoy!
